Hampton Court

a typical Thames lock - immaculate and easy.

as close as we could get....
rose garden
snazzy river-front gates at Hampton Court
Hampton Court (tradesman's entrance)

H's Ideal Home.........
Moondaisy is tied up right outside the front gates of Hampton Court. Much tea being drunk to celebrate making our first destination. Very fine moorings and free for 24 hours - pretty good to be in such a lovely place.& a.m. tomorrow it's away to Teddington ready to lock out into the tideway at 9.30 - we should only be 90 minutes before we lock back into the canal system again, having used only 7 of our 15 day Thames License. A really enjoyable week, which we would recomment to anybody (with a boat)
On the way today, I spotted my ideal house - but sadly:-
a) it was not for sale
b) ).Even if it had been, I would be several million pounds short of the price.
Still, we can dream.
