A bit of a day out

Friends from London came over to Oxford today -and several pubs were inspected.
We had a long walk around the city and were lucky to come across a Model T Ford rally. Lots of really beautifully restored Model T tourers, Doctor's saloons and a few trucks. Wonderful. Where do they all live when not on show, we wondered ? Apparently they were not always only available in black - and at one time red was the standard colour. (phone photos - a bit thin)

It was dull and rainy all day. When I returned to the boat, Moondaisy's bow was untied and the steel mooring pin had disappeared for ever into the Oxford canal. We liberated a bit of steel reinforcing bar from a nearby tip and that is holding her for now. Tomorrow I must move to a new 48 hour mooring and find a chandlers to buy a new pin. Rats ! Lucky she was not wedged across the canal.....
